Kuwait`s Union of Electronic Media is interested in building cooperation with AZERTAC VIDEO

Kuwait's Union of Electronic Media has expressed its interest in establishing cooperation with Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) as the Union’s Chairman of the Board Faisal Khalifa as-Sawaq met with AZERTAC`s Chairman of the Board Aslan Aslanov.

He hailed rapid development processes in Azerbaijan, pointing out the hospitality of the Azerbaijani people. Khalifa as-Sawaq also praised the dynamic development of relations between Kuwait and Azerbaijan.

He expressed the Union's interest in opening its office in Baku, adding that it will be very useful in terms of both raising the Kuwaiti readers` awareness of Azerbaijan's recent achievements and providing more information about Kuwait in Azerbaijan. Khalifa as-Sawaq also pointed out the Union’s intention to embark on cooperation with AZERTAC. He said that this cooperation can include the organization of mutual visits of media representatives and implementation of joint projects in order to thoroughly study the social, economic as well as cultural life of the two countries.

AZERTAC Chairman of the Board Aslan Aslanov highlighted the great strides Azerbaijan has made since restoring its independence. He noted that development strategy defined by the founder and architecture of the modern state of independent Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev is today being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

Aslan Aslanov highlighted the activities of AZERTAC. He pointed to AZERTAC`s growing role on the international arena, saying the agency now holds the presidency of the News Agencies World Congress and the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA).

AZERTAC Chairman of the Board Aslan Aslanov also hailed the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Kuwait.
